«Centre of economical cooperation and development» (hereinafter - Centre) was founded in June 2016 in the course of signing of the Agreement between the company ASG Spremberg GmbH (Germany), «Sovtest ATE» (Russian Federation) and «Investment Promotion Agency of the Kursk region» (Russian Federation). But the cooperation of Kursk region with region Spree-Neiße (Germany) began in 2014 after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the Administration of Kursk region and German party of Euroregion «Spree-Neiße-Bober». The precondition for such cooperation was the fact that the industrial structures of region Lausitz (Federal State Brandenburg, Germany) and Kursk region (Russia) are similar. First of all the economics of these regions are determined by the mining industry, ore processing, machine building/engineering industry, electrical engineering and agriculture.
«Centre of economical cooperation and development» serves for the extension of the cooperation between the companies from Federal State Brandenburg (Germany) and Kursk region (Russia), and also other regions of Russia, ipso facto it promotes the strengthening of the corresponding economic regions of both countries. The cooperate relationship covers the industry, education, science, health care, ecology and culture.
